What is the Walk to Emmaus?

What does the Walk to Emmaus mean to me?

Over the past several years I have had the privilege of serving on the DWTE board as secretary. It has been a gift to me to be able to serve the Emmaus community in this way. My husband and I have met the most caring, loving individuals as we have served side by side with others who truly love the Dakotas' Emmaus Community. These people are now numbered among our closest friends.
Even though our term of office has come to a close we will continue to serve the Dakotas' Emmaus Community as God so leads. All of this is being said to encourage you to say "yes" when God offers you the opportunity to serve in whatever role HE gives to you.
Now, lets find those Pilgrims and give them the experience of their life as we sponsor them and bless them with the Walk To Emmaus pilgrimage gift. Let's remember, it doesn't end with the Walk...those Reunion groups and Gatherings are wonderful blessings and opportunity for accountability and spiritual growth.
